I have a different opinion on blank decks. I understand that some people think if you sell blank decks your not promoting pro skateboard products but I personally feel that the pro decks are overpriced. Most kids have a tough time spending $50 or more on a pro deck when they can buy a complete blank skateboard for just a little more. The blank deck makes it possible for more people to enjoy the sport of skateboarding because their parents will buy a complete blank skateboard for $60 but they don’t want to pay $120 - $150 for a pro model complete. I do recommend purchasing a blank deck that is Canadian maple. The Canadian maple banks that I sell seem to hold up to abuse and last as long as most pro decks. Thumbs up to blank decks for keeping the sport of skateboarding affordable.

The reason I buy my son blank decks (canadian maple) is because he skates hard and breaks a deck every couple weeks and only gets “flowed” once a month. Definitely worth is for serious skaters.
only if i could learn how to skateboard and others!
