Rain, Snow, Hail, Sleet ... Who Cares?!

Monday December 11, 2006
As we move into winter here in the Great White North, I've been getting this question more and more. Wherever you live, there's likely to be at least a few wet, cold months out of the year where skateboarding outside just isn't an option. What should you do? Just because it's snowy and cold, doesn't mean you have to toss your skateboard in the closet and pick up snowboarding! Here's a compilation of some of my ideas. You might have thought of some of them already, but who knows - if you have ideas of your own, feel free to drop a comment! (especialy if you actualy know what "sleet" is ...)

for those of you like myself who don’t have a skatepark in the rural areas skate in the open garage. That’s when it’s raining a lot or if it’s winter, go snowboarding. It simulates the skateboard motion and helps the skate crave on those blustery days.
