Ricta 78s - Seriously Soft

Monday October 30, 2006
Ricta 78s skateboarding wheels reviewRicta have been making wheels for a little over five years, and in this short time span they have really figured things out. The Ricta 78’s are a hard-cored, soft wheel, sometimes called jelly wheels, that are designed perfectly for what there used for, just cruising, I repeat, JUST cruising, these are a specially designed jelly wheel specifically for transportation, not sport. Read the Ricta 78 Skateboarding Wheels Review for more.

(1) Matt says:

The Ricta 78s mean the wheel has a hardness rating of 78A. 78A is the softest wheel I could find. The Ricta 78As are designed for skateboard filmers. A normal street wheel like the Ricta Boltzs (83B) would make the video bouncy and you would get sea sick watching the tape. The soft wheels allow you to ride smoothly over rough terrain. Again these are FILMER WHEELS!

Aren’t Clouds softer? And why are All-Stars listed as the same durometer rating for the surface and core? Wouldn’t that make them the same? Anyway, hope to cruise on these wheels soon.
