Dew Action Sports Tour 2006 Final Results

From DAST - Ryan Sheckler won the Skateboard Park season title and Bucky Lasek captured the Skateboard Vert title on Saturday in the third day of competition at the Dew Action Sports Tour's fifth and final stop, the PlayStation® Pro, at the TD Waterhouse Centre. Sheckler and Lasek both won the Dew Cup, the season ending trophy, in their respective disciplines.

Placing first at the PlayStation Pro tour stop was Jereme Rogers, 21, of Boston, Mass., with a final score of 91.58. “It is a tough competition between [Sheckler] and me,” said Rogers. “But Ryan and I are friends, so I don’t mind. I’m just psyched that I was able to finish on top here in Orlando.”

“I couldn’t be happier about winning the Dew Cup,” said Sheckler. “I’m happy for Jereme, but I come to [the Dew Tour] to win and I’ll be here again next year.”

With his win tonight in Orlando, Lasek, 33, of Baltimore, Md., captured his second consecutive Dew Cup in Skateboard Vert. Lasek scored a 92.00 on his second run with a backside to tailslide over the channel, edging Australia’s Tas Pappas. “Winning another Dew Cup is such a great feeling and I’m still in shock,” said Lasek. “I wouldn’t be able to push myself everyday without all of these pro skaters.”
