8th Annual Tim Brauch Memorial Contest

September 23rd and 24th. This contest started as a memorial for Tim Brauch, who died of a sudden heart attack in 1999 at the age of 25 (read more about him on the Tim Brauch Memorial Fund Website). The money raised from this competition was for a Tim Brauch Memorial Skatepark, which was finally completed last year. The Tim Brauch Memorial Contest is now an established skate competition, with Sunday's bowl contest being part of World Cup Skateboarding's "Concrete Bowl Series".
