Freebord Review - Snowboard on Pavement

Monday July 17, 2006
A freebord is an alternative skateboard created to simulate the feel of snowboarding on pavement closely as possible. On a Freebord, you can carve as well as slide just like on a snowboard. The sliding is made possible by an extra set of wheels in castors, set in the middle of the board. Of course, being able to slide like this also means you can catch an edge. Excpet that you aren't on snow... Read this reader review of Freebords, and see if you want one!
