Thrasher's Fausto Vitello dead at 59

The publisher of Thrasher magazine, Fausto Vitello, has died in Woodside, Calif., at age 59. Vitello founded Independent Trucks, in 1978, and started up Thrasher in 1981 with the now famous motto, "Skate and Destroy." "He's the godfather of punk-rock skateboarding," Michael Brooke, publisher of Concrete Wave magazine.
