Bust Better With Brand New Bushings

Monday January 23, 2006
Replacing skateboard bushings is a piece of cake - and should be done from time to time. Bushings are the little rubber rings inside skateboard trucks (see photo). Skateboarding puts a lot of wear on your bushings. They can lose their spring, and your board will end up always turning in a certain direction, or simply losing performance. Before you replace your skateboard bushings, I recommend removing your skateboard's trucks. This isn't necessary, but it will make things a lot easier. Read How To Remove Your Skateboard Trucks, or go straight to How To Replace Your Skateboard Bushings.
