Flying High in the City of Angels

Sunday at X Games 11 - Today was all about the Skateboarding Big Air competition on the Mega Ramp! The band Pennywise rocked out while the skaters practiced on the freakishly huge ramp. For most of the skateboarders, this week was the first time they had ridden a Mega Ramp since last year's X Games! The competition was fierce and fun, with Pierre-Luc Gagnon blasting the ramp with the first big score for the day and earning silver. Andy Macdonald came up and landed a solid third place, hitting the same score twice. In the end, it was all Danny Way, on a banged up ankle from just jumping the Great Wall of China three weeks ago, who took his second gold in two years for Big Air.
