More Skate Moms Events

The International Society of Skateboarding Moms is trucking up to Portland, Oregon for a Skate-O-Rama on August 13th, and a book signing to raise money for Portland Skateparks on the 14th. But first, watch Barbara, the founder of the Skate Moms Society give a skate lesson on ESPN2's moring show "Cold Pizza" on Friday August 6th from 7am to 9 am EST. After this, a Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama will be held on Saturday Aug. 7 at the Van's Skatepark in Potomac, VA. Other Mighty Mamas have been schedualed for Aug. 21 in Long Beach, CA and Sept. 25 in New England (Newburyport, MA). The Society at this moment has 109 moms - for more information about any of these events, or to join the society, check out the Skate Moms website.
