7th Annual Etnies European Open, a Pure Skateboarding Event

Friday March 26, 2004
This year, new locations have been chosen for the etnies European Open. The first stop will be in Linköping, Sweden (May 21-23), an outdoor concrete skatepark, with the second stop in Munich (June 11-13), which has established itself as THE European street event in skateboarding. The third and final stop will be beautiful Rome (Sept 10-12) at the seaside resort of Lido di Ostia, at an outdoor skatepark equipped with obstacles built by IOU Ramps just two minutes away from the beach. The etnies European Open contests are held as open events, so everybody has the chance to compete. More than 200 skateboarders from all over Europe are expected, with 10,000 Euro prize money awarded at each stop. The Top 100 riders according to last years scoring are directly qualified for the qualification on Saturday. All the others have to skate the pre-elimination on Friday. Watch World Cup Skate for more dates and info, and keep an eye on skateboardeurope for online sign up and qualification lists.
