Skateboards Considered Deadly Weapons, not Allowed on Airplanes

Tuesday January 27, 2004
News. As wild as it sounds, skateboards will be banned from planes across Europe “as potentially dangerous weapons” in an EU air security crackdown. Starting in February, the ban will include skateboards and other recreational equipment from airplanes. “Potentially a skateboard is a weapon,” a European Commission spokesman said. “Some new skateboards have a sharp edge for example.” Can you imagine a terrorist hijacking a plane with a skateboard?! EUpolitix.com has the story.

guess what-
With enough imagination, ANYTHING can be a weapon.
If you work out enough you can kill someone with you bare hands.
Skateboards are now deadly… god help us.

Guess what, many things are weapons as many people will say and agree. maybe they should start banning pens, pencils, credit cards, belts, hair pins, beauty products, and many, many other items that will take too long to list. As a sk8boarder, i am highly offended by this action made by the Eu. Its f***ing bulls**t man imagine a terrorist hijacks a plane with a marker! im tired of people telling me that i cant skate here and there. A skateboard is a weapon if someone tells me i cant bring my board on a plane im going to board wack them with my skateboard!!!
